HOMECOMING DANCE
The Homecoming Dance is an event hosted by the Student Government Association.  Attending the Homecoming Dance is a privilege extended to students in good academic, behavior, and attendance standing. Any student who has received more than two separate out-of-school suspensions or excessive in-school suspensions will not attend Homecoming Dance.  Circumstances will be reviewed and decided at the discretion of the school administration.  Also to attend the Homecoming Dance, EHS students must be present at least one-half of the school day on the Friday before the Homecoming Dance.  Any EHS student not in attendance on the Friday before the dance will not be admitted.  No refunds will be given.

ADMISSION:

  • Tickets for EHS students must be purchased through Gofan.co and will not be sold at the door.  At time of purchase, the attending EHS student's name will be required for completion of sale.  The attending EHS student's submitted name will be recorded and listed for admission.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.  Do not transfer purchased tickets or purchase a transferred ticket as only listed attending students notated at the time of purchase will be admitted. No refunds will be provided. DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FOR NON EHS STUDENTS UNTIL OUTSIDE DATE FORM IS APPROVED. 
  • Ticket sales will open Monday, August 31st and will close Wednesday, September 16th or WHILE SUPPLIES/TICKETS LAST  (We expect the event to sell out again this year)
  • Outside date forms will be available in the front office beginning August 31st and are due in the front office for review NO LATER THAN September 9th at 3:30 PM.  Outside dates MUST be approved BEFORE a ticket for the outside date can be purchased.  Photo ID is required for all NON-EHS outside dates.
  • Students will check-in upon arrival and check-out upon departure behind the school in the EHS Courtyard.
  • The NCS Code of Conduct will be enforced at this school event and students in poor academic, attendance, or behavior standing may be restricted from attending. Circumstances will be reviewed and decided at the discretion of the school administration.
  • All students are subject to search and screening at the event.
  • The Homecoming Dance is limited to high school age attendees.  Middle school students and anyone over the age of 20 will not be admitted to the Homecoming Dance.  
  • Students should be picked up immediately at or before the conclusion of the dance at 10PM.

PANTS:

     Dress Slacks
     Button Down Shirt
     A tie and/or jacket are optional
     Denim is not allowed

DRESSES:

     Dress must be fingertip length
     No excessively revealing necklines or backlines
     No two-piece dresses that excessively expose midriff
     No see-through or sheer fabric that exposes areas that should not be exposed

Prom 2027 Save the date 

PROM
Prom is a privilege extended to students in good standing.  Any student who has received more than two separate out-of-school suspensions or excessive in-school suspensions will not attend Prom.  Circumstances will be reviewed and decided at the discretion of the school administration. Students who attend prom must be in good academic standing.  Students who have accumulated more than 10 unexcused absences from school cannot attend prom.  Also, to attend prom students must be present at least one-half of the school day on the Friday before Prom.  Any student not in attendance on the Friday before Prom will not be admitted to Prom.  No refunds will be given.

Dress Code Guidelines

Any student or guest whose attire is in violation to the published dress code may be prohibited from entering the prom and will not be entitled to a refund. Also, anyone altering their attire after entering/during the prom and violating the dress code will be asked to leave.  It is the EHS student’s responsibility to inform guests of the dress code. Students may, but are not required, to submit photos of their dresses for optional approval through the Digital Prom Packet.

 

  • Dresses

·      No excessive exposure of the midriff or back

·      Front necklines shall not be lower than a line formed between the right and left armpits

·      Strapless dresses are allowed if they meet the front neckline guidelines

·      Dresses, hemlines, and slits must be fingertip length

·      Sheer panels must not expose areas that should be covered according to the guidelines above

  • Suits

·      Suits and tuxedos must be worn with a jacket, a tie or bow tie, and a dress shirt

·      Shirts must always be worn; vests must have a shirt underneath and remained button to the second button from the collar

·      Polo-style shirts, t-shirts, and denim pants are not permitted

·      Pants should fit properly on the hip; sagging pants are not permitted

 

Behavior Requirements

  • All prom attendees must adhere to the code of conduct in the 2026-2027 EHS Student Handbook
  • Students attending the PROM must be present for at least half of the school day immediately preceding the dance.
  • Absolutely NO alcohol/drugs or vaping/tobacco/nicotine is permitted at prom
  • Students are not allowed to re-enter the prom upon leaving
  • Students and/or guests must comply with requests from the staff and chaperones--no rude or vulgar language or disrespect of adults will be tolerated
  • Students and guests must vacate the premises at the conclusion of the prom
  • All attendees are subject to search
